This blog appears to have exhausted itself while I have been busy writing actual things in hopes of making actual money. Oh, I mean – it’s my art, it’s all about my art. I’m working on the craft, you know? And if I make some money some day, so be it.
I will maintain a light [...]

It could be in
the name…orderly…
tidy beds no
decorative pillows
drapes blinds ties
that could bind.
Every day the trays
come
at the same time.
Droning television mutes
the hum of voices real
and imagined.
There is no one
to care for but myself
so I do -
make bedbrush teethwash hair
every day, even.
What else is there
to do?
Outside
the mind must hold
tenuously
grip the edge hold up the
buttress
of Important Things.
Inside
we’re
Free.

I was looking for something specific, something not related to food at all, but as so often happens around this vast pseudo-informational wasteland, I ended up with this.
People who are good at making up funny song lyrics should always make videos, too. Hint, hint.
Now I’m off to make some tabbouleh with the tomatoes from my [...]

I just like it. It does something to me.
And the next song I just can’t get anywhere. So here’s a link. It’s worth a listen.
Am I too old for slam dancing? It makes me want to ride around blasting it with my feet out the window drinking a Milwaukee’s Best. Maybe I’m just too easy [...]

I’ve heard it said that it takes a village to raise a child. This idea was popularized by Hillary Clinton when she named her world domination plan book after the idea, ostensibly an African proverb. While there is some argument about the origin of the phrase, it is in close keeping with many cultural ideas [...]

Fundamental Jelly and Alan allowed me to have a little break from captivity in order to visit my children and care for my vegetable garden. They supervised me very closely, but I was able to snap some photos of my kiddos playing “Libertarian Think Tank” and digging up worms. I also scored some mulberries from [...]

Hey, look – I’m famous! Or at least, popular. Or maybe just interesting in a “how unfortunate” kind of way.
But my work space was featured on my friend Fundamental Jelly’s blog, complete with fun explanations, amusing insults, and general frivolity. Go on over and join the melee.
